GAME:

Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants

Six combat-disabled and wounded veterans were saluted by the Green Bay Packers and WPS Health Solutions during the Packers-Giants game for Operation Fan Mail.

The Marine Corps and Army veterans are Sergeant Gregory Haak from Oregon, Wis.; Corporal Jeremy Stengel from Mukwonago, Wis.; Sergeant Jason Johns from Oregon, Wis.; Staff Sergeant Andrew Diaz from Ralls, Texas; Lance Corporal Scott Kruchten from Madison, Wis.; and Corporal Kevin Hanrahan from Black River Falls, Wis.

Combined, the veterans served for almost 50 years. Their collective service includes deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Western Pacific. Many members of the group served together and currently work closely with veterans organizations.

As highly decorated veterans, the group’s awards include numerous Meritorious Service Medals, ribbons, Purple Hearts, Commendation Medals with Valor in combat, and multiple Combat Action Ribbons per person.
